Blind rivets earn their name from solving a specific access problem: they install with tooling from one side only, which is essential wherever the back of the joint is sealed, boxed in, or otherwise unreachable — HVAC ducting and aluminum window frames being two of the most common examples. That one-sided installation is the entire reason to choose a rivet over a bolted connection in the first place.
The material combination between the rivet body and the parent material matters more than buyers often realize, particularly around galvanic corrosion: an aluminum rivet in a steel structure (or vice versa) sets up a corrosion cell in the presence of moisture that can weaken the joint years before it would otherwise fail. Matching or compatible metal combinations avoid this entirely.

Blind rivets are very light, so a standard 20ft container (~20 tons) typically holds several million to over ten million pieces in common diameters. Exact quantity depends on size and grip range and is confirmed at quote time.
