Custom (OEM)
Custom & Precision Turned Fastener Components — OEM Manufacturer, Wholesaler, Supplier & Exporter
When a standard catalog fastener doesn't fit the application, we manufacture custom and precision-turned components to buyer drawings — special bolts, machined studs, and non-standard fittings — in steel, stainless steel, brass, and alloy grades.
Custom fastener work almost always starts from one of two very different starting points, and getting that distinction clear upfront saves real back-and-forth: either there's an engineering drawing with full GD&T tolerancing ready to quote against, or there's a physical sample of an obsolete or unlabeled part that needs to be reverse-engineered before anyone can quote it at all. Both are routine, but they follow different paths to a first-article sample.
First-article inspection exists specifically to catch tolerance or material drift before it becomes a production-quantity problem — a single sample piece, measured and reported against the drawing, is far cheaper to get wrong and correct than discovering the same issue in a container of finished parts.

Minimum Order — Container Quantity (Approx.)
Container capacity for custom components varies entirely by design, size, and material — we'll confirm the exact quantity per container once your drawing or sample has been reviewed.
You don't need a full container to order. Hurain Engitech & Trade — the group Global Fasteners Exports operates under — regularly ships smaller, partial-container (LCL) orders of just a few pallets or boxes for buyers who don't yet need FCL volume, consolidated with other cargo to keep freight cost reasonable.

How We Manufacture & Export This Product
- 1
Drawing review
Engineering review of the buyer's drawing, tolerances, and material specification.
- 2
First-article sample
A sample or small trial batch is produced and inspected before full production.
- 3
Production run
Full production once the buyer approves the first article.
- 4
Export packing
OEM-specification packing and documentation for ongoing or one-time export shipment.
Export Track Record
Manufactured to buyer drawings for OEM machinery and replacement-part programs, then exported as ongoing or one-time orders.
Real-World Use Cases
OEM machinery components
Special fasteners built into a buyer's own equipment line, supplied on a recurring basis.
Obsolete or legacy part replacement
Reverse-engineering a fastener from a physical sample when the original supplier or drawing is no longer available.
Prototype and pre-production runs
Small trial batches validating a design before committing to full production tooling and volume.
Common Mistakes Buyers Make
Skipping first-article inspection to save time
Catching a tolerance or material issue in one sample piece is far cheaper than discovering it in a full production batch.
Providing a worn sample without noting the wear
A used, worn part reverse-engineered without adjustment can result in a 'faithful' replica of a part that was already out of spec.
Under-specifying material equivalence
'Similar' isn't the same as equivalent — confirm exact material grade requirements rather than accepting the closest commercially available alternative without sign-off.
Glossary of Terms
- First-article inspection (FAI)
- A full dimensional and material check of the first production sample against the drawing, before releasing the full production run.
- GD&T
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing — the drawing language specifying exactly how much a part's dimensions and form may vary.
- Reverse engineering
- Determining a part's specification by measuring a physical sample when no drawing or original supplier is available.
Quality Inspection We Perform
Dimensional inspection
Thread gauge, length, diameter, and head/drive geometry checked against the specified standard.
Material verification
Grade and material composition confirmed against the order specification, with mill test certificates on request.
Mechanical testing
Tensile strength, hardness, and proof-load testing on sample batches, particularly for structural and high-tensile grades.
Finish & coating check
Plating thickness, galvanizing coverage, or passivation quality inspected before packing.
HS Code & Customs Classification
Most fasteners fall under HS Chapter 73 (articles of iron or steel) or Chapter 74/76 for brass and aluminum items — the exact 8-10 digit subheading depends on the specific product and material. We include the HS code on the commercial invoice; confirm the applicable import duty with your customs broker, since rates vary by country and trade agreement.
Packaging & Export Labeling
Export packing is chosen to survive ocean freight and container loading without corrosion or damage: corrosion-protected paper or oil coating where needed, then cartons, drums, or bulk bags, palletized or crated for the container. We can match specific labeling, barcoding, or carton-marking requirements for OEM and repeat buyers.
